Flushes of bluebonnets
dotting the roadsides

This almost makes the summers bearable

Poetess, memoir writing, essays about life; these are the things I write about. I also love to cook, so you'll likely find a recipe or two in this blog. I am passionate about Nature and family, so from time to time I will share pictures-with or without poetry.

  1. Yeah! Wild Lupine! I planted some of this last year, all the way up her in WI, to try and help save the Karner Blue Butterfly. When we took a trip up to norther Minnesota I was so excited to see it growing wild along the roadside, just like this!
